Red Hill Academy will be licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services Community Care Licensing Division. RHA will also be registered as a Non-Public School by the California Department of Education. Both state departments ensure compliance with minimum standards of care and education as defined by state regulation. Once eligible, RHA will apply for accreditation by the Western Association of School and Colleges (WASC) and will apply for membership in the National Association of Therapeutic Schools and Programs (NATSAP).

Red Hill Academy is a program of Sunny Hills Services. Sunny Hills Services is a member of the Child Welfare League of America and the California Alliance for Child & Family Services.
