The Red Hill Academy educational program provides individualized instruction in a structured, supportive, and nurturing academic environment. Each Red Hill Academy student has unique hopes, dreams, and life goals; some students aspire to admission to a four-year college or university while others hope to matriculate to junior college, or plan to enter the workforce directly. Our experienced staff works closely with students to prepare them for whatever their chosen path is, emphasizing academics while facilitating social and community experiences including recreational activities, internships, mentor relationships, and part-time work in the student's field of interest.

The RHA academic program instills in our students a love of learning, an unbridled curiosity about themselves and the world around them, and a strong sense of hope. We focus on identifying and developing strengths and aptitudes in our students, while simultaneously providing remediation for areas where skills need development. RHA teachers and staff assist students in overcoming significant challenges in learning and living.

Evidence-based curriculum and methodologies are central to the Red Hill Academy approach, and core academic program components include block period classes, project-based learning, and skills tutorials. These are complemented by career counseling classes, elective classes such as art and music, resource support, and state of the art multi-media and assistive technology.
